Katie's love of all things artistic and architectural began in her teens with travel to England, France and Italy. Immersed in art, furniture styles, history, and fashion, Katie brings to her residential and commercial projects a flair that is at once worldly and grounded. Katie's esthetic can express itself in a broad variety of forms, always shaped by the clients' design preferences and needs, and underpinned by a solid foundation built from years of experience and degrees in both interior design and psychology. Katie enjoys collaborating with her clients, locating the perfect elements, and pulling it all together as the best expression of the clients' wishes.
Katie is an Allied Member of the ASID. When she's not designing, Katie is constantly reading new publications to stay current in the field. Katie grew up in Frederick, and is active in the community. She has been a committee member for events like “In the Streets”, “The Catoctin Affair”, and “The Weinberg New Year's Eve Gala”, as well as numerous Rotary International fundraisers.
Katie has been published in Frederick Magazine, and Log Home Magazine. She says, “Nothing pleases me more than to see my clients happy with their new space!”
